Lessons are one on one so we do not allow another person in the car.  

There will be maximum of 3 people only (Instructor, student and 1 observing/Mary’s driving school trainee)

Yes, included in our service and rates is pick up and drop off to your desired location as long as it is within our service area of Greater Victoria. If you are located outside core of Greater Victoria such as Langford, Metchosin, Colwood, Central and North Saanich and Sidney, we suggest that pick-up and drop-off near ICBC McKenzie is preferred option.

When deciding to book your lessons, it is a good idea to plan in advance. We find that most people have a good sense themselves of how many lessons they need or want. However, if you are a beginner, we suggest to start with 12 hours lesson or please contact us, so we can help you make a choice.

Mary’s Driving School requires 48hrs cancellation notice for a driving lesson. $45 will be charged.

Full amount of lesson will be charged for a no show or late notice less than 24hours to a scheduled appointment.

There will be no refund for driving lessons or road test sessions that have been taken place. 

 

If you complete a minimum of 4 lessons, and your instructor indicates that you are ready for the road test, road test can be booked and paid by the students through ICBC

We provide lessons

Spring-Summer Monday to Sunday 9:00am until 8:00pm

Fall-Winter Monday to Sunday 9:00am until 4:00pm

 

ICBC charges $35 for a Class 7 and $50 for Class 5 road to take the road test. If you pass, you will have to pay another $75 for the license fee. On the day of the Road test, you are required to arrive about 15 min. prior to the test time. In addition, if you have to cancel your road test, ICBC requires you to cancel within 48 hours and if you do not, you will be charged $25 by ICBC.

On the day of your road test, you will need to bring 2 pieces of ID – primary and secondary according to ICBC requirements. If you show up on road test day and do not have your proper ID’s or sufficient payment, you will not be able to take your test and will have to reschedule.
